Reverse Osmosis
Advanced Water Purification Technology
Simply put, osmosis is gradual absorption. In nature it can be identified through examining a tree. Moisture and nutrients are slowly taken in by a tree from the ground through its root system to its outermost leaves. Moisture drawn from the soil passes through cell walls and as it does increases in density until the density on both sides of the cell walls is the same. It continues through with this process as the liquid density changes inside the tree.
Basically, reverse osmosis is our way of reversing nature’s process. We force raw tap water, which is the denser liquid, against a cellulose acetate membrane. When forced against the high-polished surface of the cellulose acetate membrane the water molecules dissolve in the thin cellulose acetate layer and diffuse through it one molecule at a time. This forms pure water and leave behind up to 98.7% of contaminants that can be found in water.
“It’s awfully upsetting. Toronto is drinking levels of aluminum in their water that public officials know are capable of causing Alzheimer’s disease. The situation ought to generate a lot of alarm. I don’t understand why it’s not”
– Stan Gray, The Toronto Star
“Fluoridation presents unacceptable risks to the public health, and the government cannot prove its claims of safety. It is clear that fluoride is mutagenic, and that it may well cause cancer. Fluoridation, constitutes unlawful medical research. It is banned in most of Europe; European Union human rights legislation make it illegal”
